LIGHTHOUSE
Lighthouse: (n) a fixed structure in the form of a tower equipped with a light visible to mariners for warning them of obstructions, for marking harbour entrances, etc.
I’m thinking of another LIGHTHOUSE
THE ONE whose LIGHT is always there
showing us the way to go,
shedding light on obstacles in our path.
The LIGHTHOUSE whose LIGHT gives us
the purest LOVE we have ever known
The LIGHTHOUSE who, at times,
gets ignored because we would rather do
our own navigating.
How many times have our ships gone off course,
only to find ourselves shipwrecked and completely lost?
Yet we continue to ignore the SOUND and the LIGHT
The LIGHTHOUSE gives.
When will we ever learn…
