Life is like a boat and the world is the sea.
Please God guide me in the direction you want me to be.
This boat is sometimes still, but most of the time it’s crazy.
It goes through storms that i know may break me.
Waves try to take me under, and yet i’m still alive?!it really makes me wonder.
How can someone like myself,so weak and not strong still make it on this boat?
this boat i call life.
As i paddle across the open see, i gotta watch out for people that want to be a
small part of this long journey.
Those people; my fellow sailers, in other words my friends.
Some may stick by me till my journey has ended.
Others will leave because they don’t understand the direction i’m headed.
Too many people can make this boat sink, but i gottaa get just the right amount to make this journey complete.
Those people must understand that i’m following a God that is greater than I am.
Following a God that will show me where to go, following a God that will never let me go.
This journey you see, ain’t all about me.
I gotta share His love, His love that’s way deep inside me.
I will make mistakes while sailing on this open sea, but that doesn’t mean my God doesn’t love me.
With my time remaining here on this open sea, i want to reflect my Lord who is way bigger than me.
With the things i say and the things i do, my Lord i want to glorify You.
I just want to say thank YOU Lord for the things you’ll do.
P.S. This journey would be hard if i didn’t have Y-O-U

And what a big see it is. Beautiful post spoken straight from the heart. I can totally relate to the poem. And like a boat, we all need to steer our life in the right path. It’s scary but one day, we’ll arrive at that amazing destination. Thanks.
