If You Don't Love It, You Can't Sustain It

Reblogged from Wise Counsel:

What do you consider pain or suffering?
Some other people love them!
No wonder the saying "one man's meat is another man's poison".

Carrying heavy objects is a nightmare to some people, yet some others have a filled day lifting weight.
Walking through long distances or running, frightens some people, yet some others can't wait for day to break to cover some distance.

Another Blessing

SERENDIPITY – a pleasant surprise

Indeed, this award is such a pleasant surprise.  This word describes the blogger who so, sweetly, bestowed this award upon me.  Her writing is honest, from the heart.  Whether a Bible verse, or photo, sharing a family situation, and wonderful artists, or a beautifully written poem,  it’s always a pleasure to get to know someone through such posts.  I completely understand why Serendiptiyplus received this honor because she engages you in conversation when she leaves a comment.  You can’t help but to respond!  I appreciate the time she takes to come by and give an opinion or encouraging word.  When I first started blogging, I had know idea what a “blog” was, and certainly didn’t know who would be reading what would be coming through me.  How wonderful it is to meet so many amazing people.  Even more wonderful to have made special friends. Through our writing/posts, we get to know each other better than most because some of our family and friends in our “real lives” may not take the time to read our blog, or take to time to notice our sensitive sides. And it warms my heart to know that comments I have made, have touched someone, too.  Thank you, again, Serendiptiyplus, for this special honor.

This award is giving recognition to the ones who comment on your blog regulary – the “top commenters”, as found on your stats page. It displays the top 6 commenters.  But that’s not the end of it. You, also, get to choose a 7th nominee, for any reason at all.  Please, don’t forget to tell us why you chose #7.  We would like to have the chance to get to know this blogger, too :)

“Drum roll please…”

According to my stats, here are my top 6:

serendipityplus.wordpress.com *really…I didn’t make this one up ;)

freedomborn.wordpress.com

caddoveil.wordpress.com

inlovewiththelord.wordpress.com

virtuouswoman73.wordpress.com

dragoneystory.wordpress.com

All 6 of these bloggers I can, easily, say are my friends.  They are such blessings to me – encouraging me and making me smile.  Now my #7 is a blogger who, from day 1 of hodgepodge4thesoul, has given me such sweet encouragement, and whose comments have blown me away sometimes when he would take the time to say how one of my posts had touched him, or moved him. The reason I am choosing this blogger/commenter is because he was the first to leave a comment of substance on my “This Sojourner” page.  I appreciated it so much because I let it all out in that piece, completely transparent, but wanting to showcase my SAVIOR.  Not know how it would be received or even read at all,  his comment was that of a Brother – in – Christ, from half a world away.  Always wanting to show my appreciation for that particular comment, but not know exactly how to go about it, this award is the PERFECT opportunity to do so.  With that said, #7 is andyinoman.com. You guys really have to check out his blog.  Andy, his lovely wife, and son live in Oman, where he teaches and touches lives with the kindness of the OUR LORD.  His posts range from “local color” to showing off his wife and son.  Some of his posts crack me up, too - http://andyinoman.com/2012/03/28/diesel-fuel-in-arabic/. :D  His blog is full of surprises.

Thank you so much, Serendipity, for this award.  Blessings everyong :D
