Hang Ten

Sometimes it seems that the waves are crashing all around, and you keep getting pulled under.  And just when you raise your head above water, here comes another set knocking you around.  It’s at those moments I’ve learnded to be still, relax, grab my board, and just ride it.  Not easy sometimes, I must admitt.  But that’s when you need to TRUST that you’ll be ok because you are not in that water alone.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried  into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar  and be troubled , though the mountains shake  with the swelling thereof. Selah … The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold  the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made  in the earth … Be still, and know  that I am God: I will be exalted  among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

  1. Stunning images that touches the heart. These words are beautiful, ” But that’s when you need to TRUST that you’ll be ok because you are not in that water alone.” Indeed God watches over us, ready to pull us out when we feel like drowning. Thanks…

  2. Great photos–I recently watched the movie “Soul Surfer” (and also read the book). You’re probably familiar with Bethany Hamilton’ story, right? It had quite a meaningful impact on me. God bless you–love, Caddo

      1. Miss you too! I was thinking a LOT about you yesterday and I meant to call and check up on you. I am so glad to hear from you Sissy! 🙂
