  1. I do a lot of things. There are foods I try to avoid. I strive to minimize stress. I see a neurologist. For medication, most triptans are effective. Rizatriptan works best for me right now. There are things to take to help make that better. But the best thing is avoiding them if at all possible. When not possible, minimize the pain and shorten the duration with medicine, rest, darkness and quiet.
